My new RING!

"Mommy, we are giving you this ring and you can keep it FOREVER. We are going to marry you...and Daddy too. And you can wear it when you go to a special place that is fancy like Gringos or Taco Cavana!! You can keep it by your bed every night! Daddy, wasn't it so nice of us to think about mommy?"

My sweet boys!!

Happy Birthday Amanda from Little Batmen!

Quinn's Birthday and our anniversary

Matt and I celebrated our 6th anniversary. Our friend, Shelly babysat for us and we went to The Melting Pot. We had such a good time.

The next morning we celebrated Quinn's birthday by going to buy Halloween costumes. I know you are thing it is too early, but out of 8 super hero costumes, we could only find this one in their size!! The love them and they are still on!!

We are going to have a "family birthday" for Quinn at GB & Grandpa's this coming weekend.

Chicken and Rice Poem

Well, I asked my friend, Brie, what I could do with my chicken tonight and she said to make chicken and rice. I thought it was such a good idea...I wrote this poem!

Chicken and Rice

Chicken and Rice.
Playing with kids.
Burned the rice.
Rice down the sink.
Clogged garbage disposal.
Plunger.
Water everywhere.
Sink filled with burned rice & water.
Matt playing golf.
HUGE tub under sink.
Unhooked pipes.
Water everywhere.
Water everywhere.
Thank goodness for HUGE tub under sink.
Wet clothes.
"Get the beach towels, Reid!!"
Clean up.
Water runs through.
Reattach the pipes.
Proud of myself.
Sink clogged again.
Didn't fix the problem.
Open a bottle of wine.
Wait for Matt.

What a GREAT Day!!!

The kids loved school today. Everyone was happy and excited and they both got "treasure". Quinn said, "I didn't nap very long, so the teacher didn't get to take a nap. Sorry, Mrs. Patterson, but you may never "get a nap" this year! Hee hee.

I'm so happy today went well. Reid wanted to go back to school again...right away!
I asked if anyone cried in their classrooms and Quinn said a little girl cried, but he didn't' cry at all!

I got the front and back yard mowed, weeded, and swept. I also trimmed bushes. It is amazing what you can get done when kids are in school for a few hours! Now our weekend is ours to play and have lots of family time!

First Day of School!

Look at these happy boys...ready for school!! Sniff...sniff!
We have our Lightning McQueen Backpacks and lunch boxes!
Lunch is our favorite part of school.
We realized that these shirts are a little long...Reid said, "These shirts cover up my pee-pee." Hopefully they will figure out how to go potty without getting wet! Here is Quinn going into school with Reid's old teacher, Mrs. Alvarez. He LOVES her.
He wouldn't even look at her at open house. He kept hiding his head!
I'm off to mow the lawn and get some work done!
