Letters to Santa

Quinn's letter...
Dear Santa,
We are going to cook you some cookies and milk.
I want red Spiderman and Legos Airport and Hero Factory.
Love, Quinn

Reid's letter...
Dear Santa,
We are going to leave you cookies and milk.
I've been good.
I want the Hero Factory and Legos!
Love, Reid

Just a note for next year...Write Santa letters when the first list is made just in case someone changes their mind and wants to add a few different things to the list!

Thanksgiving in Nebraska!

Well, I'm a little slow, but here are our pictures from Thanksgiving in Nebraska. What a fun time, as always. It is so good to see everyone! And I have to say, coming from a small family, I love being with such a big, wonderful family!! There is always something going on! The boys are so sad when they have to leave...we are too!

We were really hoping to see snow, but that didn't happen...exactly.
One morning when the kids were outside playing, they found "snow" behind a bush. (It seems as though the sprinkler system was leaking a bit.) Hee hee. They said, "It snowed behind the bush!!"

Lauren and Grant

This is one of my favorites...Mick and his two handsome boys, Adam and Grant!

My other favorite!! So sweet! I'm going to print this one up for Mary Alice!

Mary Alice and Bill did a good job raising this one!
Beautiful Elizabeth!
Look at these kids!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

We decided to get a head start on decorating the house for Christmas.
This morning I started unpacking all of our Christmas ornaments. We've been collecting them for years. Each one brings back wonderful memories...wedding presents, baby's first Christmas, parties, trips, vacations, gifts, birthday celebrations, wedding favors, photos, even work, and of course...home-made ones.

Every time I unwrapped one, it was a walk down memory lane!

Renaissance Festival

We went to the Renaissance Festival this year. All I can say is that there is a different group of people at this place. The boys enjoyed seeing all of the people in costume...knights, kings, etc. This past weekend was "Roman" weekend.

Bugs....

I believe this is a Katydid....Amazing how much it looks like a leaf.

Reid loves bugs...

It crawled all the way around his head!

Mating butterflies!! I've never seen this before...

Our vines are gone...looks like about 50 or so butterflies are hatching!! Beautiful!

Soccer again....

So this is one of our last soccer practices before the final game. What fun!!
Next is winter basketball!

If a camera is around...Quinn will give me "face"!

Chatting with Coach Jacklyn.
