Memorial Day Weekend

We went to GB and Grandpa's for Memorial Day weekend. The boys golfed, swam, "painted" their deck, fed the ducks, and ate watermelon. What a great weekend!

Mmmmm watermelon!!
Here is my silly face...
BIIIIGGGG tummies after eating watermelon!
We are helping GB and Grandpa "paint" the deck with water.
Reid's shoes are red...not pink!!
Look out Tiger Woods!
Sometimes it is easier to just throw the ball!!
Grandpa is teaching us how to play golf!

A little potty diddy...

Reid is sitting in the hallway by the bathroom. He finally got his car!

He did it!!

Well, Reid did it! I won't go into details, but we have finally completed the second step of potty training. Of course, he was with Matt, so I wasn't in on the whole celebration. He did get a convertible car as a reward and was very excited about that! Yeah Reid!!!

Potty Training...

Well potty training is going great. It was pretty easy, I guess because I waited so long to do it. However, the #2 part of the potty training isn't going as well. I've bought a bag full of cars for rewards and nothing...well, nothing on the potty!! Hee hee. We are hanging in there!

Personal Pizza day...

Yesterday we made homemade pizzas for a small play group at our house. I'm not sure what I was thinking. It got a little crazy, but the kids had fun. I think the popsicles were way more fun than the pizzas!

Open, open, open!

We are going to share this...Happy Mother's Day

For Mother's Day, Reid and Matt made GB and me breakfast in bed. I guess he got hungry making it, because he came in the bedroom saying, "Here is some food...we are going to share this breakfast!" So sweet. It was a beautiful Mother's Day!

Animal Tales

Our parks and recs offer a class for toddlers. The boys learn about a new animal every week, and then they get to create a craft to go along with it. They also get to dance...lots of fun!
We are ready for "school'!
Here is our teacher...we love her!
Beautiful dolphins! We get to use markers today. Mommy is so excited!
A little bean-bag dance!

Seriously, could Daddy be any more fun?

Daddy is a "car carrier"!

Fun in the sun

Good quality mother, son time...
Beautiful day to be outside drinking iced tea!
Relaxing in the sun.
Grandpa and GB came to see Grandma Alice while she was here.
GB left to go on a cruise with her friends.

Happy Mother's Day, Grandma Alice! We will help you read this card!

Big kisses from Quinn. We will miss you Grandma Alice!

Wildlife Park with Grandma Alice

Look at that food flying!
Texas Longhorn

This quiet cow mooed and scared all of us.
Quinn went running and knocked over buckets of food.

A little too close for Reid!
Look at that cute llama!
Feeding the camels..
Hungry camels...You can barely see Grandma Alice in the background! Reid isn't so sure about it but Quinn is trying to put food into their mouth!

Could prove to be a big mistake...

Today Reid and I were discussing why Bandit, the cat, lives outside. I explained that she pee peed on the floor in Matt's old house and we didn't want her to pee pee in our house, so now she lives in the garage. Of course, he asked many questions and seemed concerned. It didn't seem like a big deal, but as I was telling him why, I realized that we are going to start potty training him this week!!

Julien's Birthday

We went to the best party this weekend! Our friend, Julien turned two, and he had a construction party. How creative is his mom, Sandra. She had "Home Depot" aprons, hats (with stickers so the kids could decorate them), bucket with paint brush, shovel and tools. There were hay rides (they have a HUGE backyard!), a demolition site, splash pad, and a construction site!
The kids stared out in one set of clothes and had to changed after an hour. They loved this sand pile!
They wrapped an area with cardboard, so kids could paint all around it. Notice the demolition site in the background. They converted the swing into a wrecking ball. The kids knocked down stacked boxes!
"I love to get messy!"

Whew...long day at work!

Hit 'er Outta the Park

Look at Reid hitting the baseball. Looks like a natural! We had a hard time getting him to stop playing and come inside! Quinn is a natural at golf, too. He plays just like his mommy!!
