We were in Bluebell country, so we had to have ice cream, of course!

Bluebonnets
We drove to see the bluebonnets near Brenham. We couldn't get a single shot of the kids looking at us. As you can see by the picture, Quinn didn't even want to get down. However, the flowers were beautiful. They reminded me of our farm when I was a little girl.

New Big Boy Room!
We finally finished Reid's room...well almost. I still need to paint clouds. Not sure if I want it to be a cloudy day or not! I put the link on our site because I was very pleased with the quality of the mural pieces. Reid really likes it...he better like cars for a LONG time! Hee hee.

He actually saw most of this before when I had things taped up. But now it is all finished!
Our Get-a-Way Vacation
Matt and I took our first vacation away since the boys were born. I think the last time we got away was when we went to Yellowstone when I was pregnant with Reid. This time we went to the hill country. We had a great time. The first day we actually got a late start and painted Reid's room. (We are working on his big-boy room!) That evening, we headed to SA and had dinner on the river walk. The second day we just hung out by the pool and enjoyed cocktails. The third day we toured a cave, had lunch in Boerne, went to Sister Creek Vinards, kayaked down the Guadalupe River, had dinner on Canyon Lake, ice cream in Gruene, and stayed at Cindy and Dennis' for the night. I think we've decided that we aren't really the laying around the pool type people when it comes to vacations. The last day was more our speed. However, it did force us to really relax! Thanks to Aunt Suzanne and Mom who took care of the kids back home!
Guitar and Fishing Pole!
Aunt Cindy and Uncle Dennis got Reid a Guitar and Quinn a fishing pole for Easter. Now Quinn won't have to fish with a golf ball retriever! Reid has been walking around the house playing for us all day! I'd love it if he could learn to play!

Easter Morning
We woke up to find that the Easter Bunny had come while we were sleeping. Reid at 6:30 and Quinn at 7:30! We opened presents, went to church. We were asked to take up communion and were a little nervous about how the boys would act, but everything went smoothly. We went home and had a little egg hunt. This time they got a little more than four eggs!
"The Easter Bunny came and bring these cars!!"
Just to make it clear, these are Quinn's cars!
"Easter in the Park" at GB and Grandpas
Easter in the Park at GB and Grandpa's was lots of fun! The weather was beautiful. There was face painting, games, crafts, petting zoo, egg hunt, and of course, the Easter Bunny!

Grandpa taking Reid, Quinn, and their friend, Chandler for a little ride in the golf cart.
Quinn looks like he is playing hard to get!
Mmmm, cookies and juice!
I'm surprised Reid isn't afraid of this guy. I guess he knows he brings the good stuff!
High five!
Reid stayed soooo still while he got this snake on his arm.
We didn't get a lot of loot. I guess I've been teaching "take turns" and "share" too much!
There were so many kids!
Aunt Suzanne!
"I can still throw holding this sippy cup!"
Hanging out...
Feeding the ducks bread!
I know this is cruel, because all of Quinn's videos are are him eating bread,
but it is just too funny!

Easter Egg Hunt at the Park
Today was the Easter egg hunt at the park with my mother's group. It was actually pretty cold and windy, but we had lots of fun.

The Bells are Here!!
We just got the bells in for Amanda and Patrick's wedding. The boys are going to be bell ringers and they are so excited! I don't think they quite know what is going on, but they sure love ringing those bells! Hopefully they won't sing Jingle Bells as they walk down the isle!!

Rodeo
Matt took the day off and we are on our way to the Rodeo. "All hat and no cattle!"
Who needs a horse when you have a double stroller to hold diapers, sippy cups, and snacks?!
Quinn loves the horses!
Giving Howdy high five.
This baby goat was eating my zipper!
THE BIG SLIDE!! You can't really tell from the video, but Reid did NOT like this. All of the people in the background are saying, "Oh, look at his face!"
He got out of there as fast as he could!

Quinn's First Haircut
Quinn's first haircut and Mommy really messed up. The lady asked if she could use clippers and I was so concerned with taking pictures that I said, "OK!" The event was traumatic, but thankfully it was over fairly quickly. He looks like such a big boy now!

The sippy cup isn't working this time!!
Reid just can't take it anymore!!
All smiles as we walk out the door!
