Memorial Weekend in Corpus and Mustang Island

Aboard the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi!
Riding a torpedo!!

Amazing...these guns were HUGE! You could still turn and raise them, too!

Reid's PK4 Graduation!

Last week was Reid's PK-4 Graduation! It was so cute.
I cried.
I can't believe he is going to kinder next year!

They all wore 'sunglasses' as they sang their songs...
He was so excited to be up on stage!

Quinn's class got to sing at the graduation! Next year it will be his turn!

Quinn and Bailey are singing...

Sarah and Quinn...she is the one who kissed Quinn!
Getting his diploma!!

This picture makes me fast forward about 12 years!

After graduation...I love this...he is in the back doing a fist pump!

(Cindy and Amanda, these shirts still fit!!)

Quote

I love this quote...

"Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don't listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won't tell you the big stuff when they are big, because to them all of it has always been big stuff." - Catherine M. Wallace

Mary Alice....

At Mary Alice's funeral, there was a slide show playing with pictures throughout her life. This was one of the first ones. Matt and I were shocked when we saw this. Quinn looks so much like her!! It is like looking at his twin. We knew they favored, but goodness! We even showed Reid this picture and we said, "Who is this?" and he said, "Quinn!" I love this!!

Easter

I still have some more pictures from Easter to upload, but here is what I have for now...
We had such a nice weekend...had a great time with Mom and Dad and it is always so fun when Suzanne comes in....she just isn't close enough!

Our traditional Easter nests. I'd love to know where this tradition started in our family! I love making them every year just like when we were kids. Couldn't get bluebonnets or red blankets, so roses were the choice flower this year.

And here is Topper!!
Lightsabers...and they make noise like the real ones!!
